Spring Weather

Yesterday, we had the first day of spring, I'm sure. It was sunny and warm, although I still couldn't spot any snowdrops or crocusses...I thought I would upload a quick brush sketch from my Alpine Sketchbook, because of the springlike colours...

Yes, we too in England are having some lovely sunny days and the spring flowers are breaking through in all their splendour. Is that snow on the hills I see still?? Charming little study.

Happt Spring.

What a charming painting. I am planning my Austrian holiday these days, a week in June at the farm of a good friend to write......

Nice sketch, Claudia. I am much looking forward to spring, we have had a few "teaser" days here in the midwest...

Dear Claudia! It has been too long since my last visit to your blog, and I can see a few changes here, in the layout and in your posts. In addition to your lovely paintings you also have posts about crochet. And how lovely it all looks. I have started crocheting again (it is far too easy to get hooked!) Winter has been a long and tough one here, but I am hoping it will soon end (even though more snow has been forecasted for Friday). It seems like such a long time ago I met you in Oslo. I do hope all is well with you and that spring i on its way to you (maybe already there!)
