Kingfisher

Another project came to my mind: birds from Europe and their scientific names from A to Z.
I started with "Alcedo atthis", the kingfisher.
It will be available as a print in my new ETSY shop.
Collage, ink and watercolour on clear blue Canson "Mi-Teintes".

Congratulations on your ETSY shop! And the lovely new blog (which I have visited and admired your beautiful photos). And I do love your recent work here; the use of writing as a background for your autumn leaves is just amazing. Really, really lovely!

Another project?? Leaves and now birds - wonderful natural subjects. Look forward to the next 25 alphabet birds????? mind you what bird begins with such letters as q, x, z - wonder if you'll find any?? Happy hunting and painting.
