Happy Easter!

Although it is a little late, I wish everyone a Happy Easter! The Forsythias are blooming now; I made a quick sketch of them in my Moleskine.

Obwohl es schon etwas spät ist, wünsche ich allen Frohe Ostern! Die Forsythien blühen jetzt und ich skizzierte sie mit Aquarellfarben in meinen Moleskine-Kalender.

Happy Easter to you too, Claudia! Your sketch of the Forsythias is lovely. And how lucky you are to see such lively blooms outside. When I look outside all I see is white snow! Our Easter has been a cold one, and it has snowed the whole day today. Oooh, how I long for spring, for things abloom and for colour...

Hello,

Your paintings remind me so much of the sketches and paintings in the book "The Edwardian Lady" They are really beautiful. I enjoyed all of them.

Hope you had a Happy Easter too Claudia. Lovely little sketch. We have snow here, what a topsyturvy year it has been ! Today though the sky is blue and the birds are singing, Easter means Spring is on its way and lots of pretty flowers to paint !
