I had to try something new ...woodcut. I'm still asking myself what's more difficult: to carve the wood or to make a clean, smooth print afterwards...I'm still not satisfied with the results, but I'm going on and I'm learning by doing...
Ich mußte etwas Neues ausprobieren...Holzschnitt, eine Hochdrucktechnik. Ich frage mich immer noch, was schwieriger ist: das Einkerben des Holzblocks oder hinterher das Erstellen eines klaren, sauberen Drucks...Ich bin mit den Resultaten noch nicht zufrieden, aber ich mache weiter und ich lerne dazu...

I have just been reading a book on woodcuts. It is something I want to try, my snails would be a good subject for a woodcut. I will look forward to seeing more of your work.
