Some more impressions from Crete, done in different sketchbooks. The landscape was done in the little Moleskine sketchbook, therefore the yellowish touch...The olives I sketched in a very good sketchbook, Vang, watercolour book, 60 sheets, 230 g fine watercolour paper, format 6 x 8 1/2 (15 x 21 cm). I really can recommend it; it's the best sketchbook paper I ever tried..
The boat was sketched in a Daler Rowney sketchbook with 150 g paper. I was not very happy with the paper in there...
Einige weitere Impressionen aus Kreta, in verschiedene Skizzenbücher gemalt. Die Landschaft habe ich in das kleine Moleskine-Skizzenbuch gemalt, daher der etwas gelbliche Einschlag ( das papier ist etwas gelblich und nimmt Aquarellfarben nur schwer an)...Die Oliven habe ich in ein sehr gutes Skizzenbuch von Vang gemalt; es heißt Aquarellbuch, DIN A 5, 230g feines Aquarellpapier. Ich kann es nur empfehlen; es hat das beste Aquarellpapier, das ich je in einem Skizzenbuch gefunden habe...
Das Boot wiederum malte ich in ein Skizzenbuch von Daler Rowney mit 150 g schwerem Papier, aber ich war nicht so zufrieden mit diesem Papier...

Beautiful work on the olives, Claudia and I've added a Vang sketchbook to my wish list. Your boats and landscape are lovely too. I'd like to be there right now.
