Last week, we made some hikes in the Alps. We had nice weather and we saw wonderful wildflowers like Arnica montana, Aquilegia alpina, Heath spotted orchid (Dactylorhiza maculata), Yellow Twoflower Violet and m a n y more! I nearly couldn't make up my mind between drawing, taking photos or to continue hiking...
Letzte Woche haben wir einige Bergtouren in den Alpen unternommen. Wir hatten schönes Wetter und sahen wunderbare Wildblumen wie Arnika, wilde Akelei, geflecktes Knabenkraut, gelbes Veilchen und v i e l e mehr. Ich wußte nicht, was ich zuerst machen sollte: zeichnen, Photos machen - oder doch - weiterwandern...

How wonderful... a hike in the Alps! We have been threatening to do that for so long and never came around to planning it...
And I can completely inderstand the difficult choice...photograph, sketch or just absorbing the fresh air and beauty...they all three are wonderful experiences and in the end it is not the chice that is important, but that whatever you choose, you do to the fullest.
Love your sketch...it brings the Alps a bit closer...
