EDM 113

When we visited Sylt, a German island, in 2003, I saw this blue fence and gate and took a photo, because I wanted to sketch it sometime. The people of Sylt love the Cerulean Blue and you can find this particular colour on fences, gates, doors, boats, chinaware and textiles...

Pretty painting... blue... you just made blue my favorite color. I also liked the quote by Hunderwasser... I bought a print by him back in the 1970"s... still have it. wonder if it's worth more that I paid for it? not that I would sell it though!
