The Old Cherry Tree

This is a small house in a little village nearby. In front of it, there is a wonderful, old cherry tree. Every spring I'm fascinated of the view...

Das ist ein kleines Haus in einem Dorf in der Nähe. Davor steht ein wunderbarer, alter Kirschbaum. Jeden Frühling bezaubert mich dieser Anblick...

What a lovely picture, Claudia! I love the blossoming cherry tree, both in your painting and in real life! The same goes for blue and white china, and your watercolour og the blue and white china cup is just beautiful.

Thank you again for all your lovely comments in my blog. I truly treasure them and am delighted every time I see that you have stopped by. I wish you a lovely weekend. We, as you know, will be "celebrating" due to 17. of May.

Lovely painting. Peaceful scene. The shadows between the houses almost look like trees too, trees without tops. Take care, Suki

Not an easy tree to climb, but I can smell its fragrance :-)

Claudia had to stop and comment as my last home was called Cherry Trees and I also finished a painting recently for a Norfolk church which had cherry trees in full bloom outside the stone wall. Beautiful to look at and wonderful to paint - you made a great painting with feeling. Really enjoy your work - and loved the bright alive tulips.
