You will already have noticed that I like flowers. One of my favourite flower for the month of January and February is the Anemone (Anemone coronaria).

Hello Claudia - I'm from East Anglia in England and I too love flowers - in fact studied natural history at art school when I learned watercolour skills - if one can of course... but I still need to loosen up when I actually paint flowers as I went a little too botanical. Love your anemonies and the amaryllis. I was given an amaryllis bulb to grow as a gift last year and painted it huge (90 x 60 cm) in acrylic. Will add you to my favourites to keep peeping at your work. Thanks for commenting on my snowdrops - do you get them in Germany?
