The old, celtic Samhain...


The old, European feast of Samhain, recently called "Halloween", has its roots in celtic culture. It was a holy time and the Celts believed that the boundaries between our world and the "Otherworld" were broken on October 31, and in the following night.

A good "Samhain" to all!

Das alte, europäische Fest "Samhain", in unserer Zeit auch "Halloween" genannt, hat seine Wurzeln in der keltischen Kultur. Es war eine heilige Zeit und die Kelten glaubten, daß die Grenzen zwischen unserer Welt und der "Anderswelt" aufgehoben wurden, am 31.Oktober, in der Nacht zum 1. November.
